I love your creations and no I don't have a special tripped planned TOMORROW for the post office but soon.

I want to comment on the video you posted.. how powerful... I remember being in TJ Mexico 2 years ago and all the unmarked crosses and graves of people that tried to cross the border... It was overwhelming!

These women that are missing my heart goes out to you.

Thanks for posting that video.

I live on that safe side in El Paso as do my children. I went to Juarez all my young life to visit my grandparents and other family members and as a teenager for the great food and readily available booze. My children also followed but now, it's much too dangerous. The video is very compelling and how true...it is an American problem...especially now that the drug cartels have taken precedence over the killings, lest we forget what is also happening to our sister city's young women...not this gal...never! BTW, I love your dress...such great representation.

These are precious Michelle, each dress, an ensemble you might say! May these dresses, with threads of peace, touch us all...

Michelle, the dresses are wonderful and so creative in such a heartfelt way.

After watching that very powerful video, the dresses have even more meaning.

I salute you!

Your dresses capture so much of the culture and symbolize these women well, I think. Good job. I liked very much attaching the word "peace" to them. Thanks for reminding me of this project. - Jeanne

Hey Michelle,

It's a good thing you all are doing. I first heard about this project over at Rochambeau and was so impressed with the power and pain in that video.

It reminded me of a documentary I saw a few months ago about a similar situation in Guatamala, where in the last couple of years something over 2000 women have been killed.

The police are so lazy and ineffectual that they label them as prostitutes and refuse to investigate. Even though they are wives, mothers, college students, etc.

It makes me so grateful I live in this country...

Hugs,

Kate

Thank you for creating such pathways towards the release of HOPE! I certainly hope our efforts raise the eyebrows of S&G enuff for them to open their doors towards the writing of an article! These women deserve it!

more dresses, more voices, we need us all. we will remember them. and we will be remembered. thank you for posting this video, one I had not seen yet. my dress yields the faces of real young women I photographed in Mexico. this video has me speechless, yet ready to roar. thank you for your contribution.

Michelle...I absolutely adore the dresses you contributed...they are beautiful! I love the shape, the perfect choice of papers you chose and the jump rings you used to link them all together. But I really love that you put *TRUTH* and *PEACE*! The truth will bring peace to the hearts of those affected and maybe the truth will bring justice too!

You have beautifully honored every lost life. Thank you for sharing your heart art in hopes that S&C will write an article and address the situation...I hope they will!!!

XOXO ~Lisa
