2010 Diary Project

7/31 - My final versions submitted to the 2010 Diary Project:

(click on images for larger versions)

It's nearly 1:30 am, but I did it ...

... I finished my journal page for the 2010 Diary Project hosted by Fantazya ...

... drum roll, please:

In her latest update she mentioned that we could send additional pages (I think she didn't get the 365+ participents that she was hoping for). I sent her two more designs to check out ... this first one is super simple, but I like what it says (it was something that I woke up thinking):

... dream ... believe ... achieve ...

And this one:

I like this last one ... didn't notice it at the time, but there seems to be a heart (if not a sacred heart) hiding in the yin-yang design. Cool.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to comment on my last post. I can't begin to tell you how great it felt to read what everyone said and to see how many people have similar feeling.

I really like the simple sphere. I can see the heart in the yin-yang symbol as well! Very neat.

This is handsome! Thanks for talking about the process.

These are beautiful; the trouble is, with such fine pages, people are so reluctant to 'mess them up' with their own stuff. ;) I hope all the recipients don't wait forever for the perfect thought to write.

What a fun project...your pages turned out fantastic, Michelle!

Love the sphere on the very special May 29th page! :) Love the second page for exactly what it says and the yin-yang drawing with the sacred heart is just beautiful!

Your pages will be enjoyed by all.

Oh, I LIKE the yin-yang page! Beautiful lines, and that hidden heart was on purpose, I think. Your subconscious put it there.

I'm a writer, not an artist. One reason that I would like to be an artist is that I somehow thought it would be easier. Maybe that's because when I was a kid in school, people who could draw made it look so effortless, whereas no matter how hard I tried to draw something, I still couldn't make it look like what it was supposed to be. Anyway, I guess it's not necessarily easier, eh? Thanks for sharing.

Ya know- I love this kinda of art. The yin yang has more into it than the sacred heart. I see a Goddess too! Beautiful art!

I like that last one too-the eastern symbol filled with celtic looking knot work. Very cool!

I love the yin yang design...and the fact that a heart is hidden in there? WOW!!! My first tattoo was a heart, very small, homemade on my right forearm (cause I wore my heart on my sleeve); and I always thought that I'd get a yin yang tat.

This is off the charts amazing.

The pearl photo, the pearl yin yang, the jounal page / borders

I love them as a series/ mirroring eachother that way.

I am not awake yet, so maybe I missed something

but now, is it that you are submitting for just one to be picked ? I THINK ! a whole calendar of your beauty , page a day would be FANTASTIC.

...seriously....

a whole book of 3rd Eye.

Just.Think.About.It ?

...cuz ahm sayin...you got some deep symbols going on here. Meditations for the days....etc.

ok okay, I know, go work on my own projects and get out of your hair ! hahhaha.

Love, S.
