Friday Fill-Ins #64

Friday Fill-In #64

1. Learning something new is so exciting!
2. Strawberry fields forever (yeah, I know, not very original) :).
3. Cream of asparagus soup in a bread bowl sounds like it would taste delicious (right about now)!
4. Why does finding sharks teeth and cool little rocks at (Stump Pass State Beach Park) make me feel so good?!
5. A moonbow (also known as a lunar rainbow ...) is something I've always wanted to see.
6. It's sad when you see people behave nasty to other people in order to make themselves feel better ... hmmm, pathetic, too.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to dinner, tomorrow my plans include work (as usual) and Sunday, I want to start painting (the long overdue sea turtle for "Boots")!

Yes, it is very sad indeed when people are mean and nasty to others to make themselves feel better. My mom always said that they hate themselves so they try and make others feel just as badly as they feel about themselves.

Thanks for the comment you left on my Fill-ins. I hope for both two!!

Hmmm...cream of anything soup is good, but in a bread bowl = extra good.

Although I grew up in San Francisco, so I would actually say clam chowder. Oh my!!

Great fill-ins. Have a wonderful weekend!

I didn't know there was such a thing as a lunar rainbow. That would be pretty awesome to see!
I did see a huge lunar halo the other night.

Thanks for the Fill-Ins comment.
Hope you have a greet weekend as well!

Monkey Bread
1/2 cup of sugar
4 Tablespoons of Cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
2 Tablespoons butter
1 can of jumbo biscuits

Preheat oven to 400*. Open can of biscuits and cut each of them into 4's . Roll quarters to make balls. Melt butter in one bowl. Add sugar and cinnamon in another bowl. Oil a loaf pan or a bundt pan. Roll balls into butter then sugar. Drop into pan. Form one layer on bottom then build ontop of that from what is left. Bake for 30 minutes, let cool just a bit then invert onto plate.

I have never heard of a moonbow - now i want to see one :)

My recipe is finger tartlets:

Puff pastry cut into and sized squares - spread with black olive pesto(leave a square margin around the edge) then place sliced fresh tomato on it. Put an anchovy on this and sprinkle with a mixture of fetta and chedder cheese - bake in hot oven until pastry has puffed. Cool down and serve cold. An old standby and is quick and easy to make :)

Thanks for the comment on my Fill-Ins!
Per your question, Womens Non-Spirituality Group is basically an excuse to get together, chat, visit and have a drink or two. Tonight, which was my first visit, was put together in order to bid farewell to a friend who is moving across the country.
Blackjack is a name brand of roofing tar. We live in a trailer and need to put some more roofing tar around various vents and things in the roof.
I had never heard of a moonbow!
